Terms of Service

Last updated September 28, 2026.

These terms govern your use of this site, operated by Senderia, LLC. By using this site or signing up for updates, you agree to them. See also our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this site or sign up for updates. If you’re under 18, you may only sign up with the involvement of a parent or guardian who is aware and has agreed to these terms on your behalf where required.

Buying a paid plan is a separate step with a higher bar. To purchase, you must be 18 or older, or the purchase must be made by a parent or guardian with you. We ask you to confirm this at checkout, and Section 7 sets out what that confirmation means.

2. What Senderia is — and isn’t

Senderia is an information and guidance service to help American students and their families explore earning a complete bachelor’s degree at a foreign university. It is not legal, immigration, financial, tax, or professional admissions advice, and using this site does not create an attorney–client, advisor–client, or any other professional relationship between you and Senderia.

3. No guaranteed outcomes

Nothing on this site or in any communication from us guarantees admission to any university, approval of any visa, receipt of any scholarship or financial aid, or any particular total cost of a degree. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including decisions made by universities and governments.

4. Accuracy and AI-generated content

Deadlines, tuition, visa requirements, and processing times change — often every application cycle. We work to keep the information on this site accurate and sourced, but we can’t guarantee it’s complete, current, or free of error. Content generated by AI can be wrong, out of date, or missing context.

Always verify deadlines, costs, and requirements against the official university or government source before you rely on them or take action.

Two things we do build in, because they’re how the guidance is meant to work rather than a promise about it: our AI cites where a figure came from, and it will tell you when earning a degree abroad looks like the wrong choice for you. Neither makes an answer correct. Check it anyway.

5. Visa and immigration information

We describe what published immigration rules say — what a student visa requires, what a residence permit is for, what processing times and deadlines are. That is general information, and it is not legal advice. We are not your lawyer, and nothing here creates an attorney–client relationship (see Section 2).

We don’t advise on individual immigration cases, and our AI is instructed not to. If your situation involves a prior visa refusal, an overstay or other adverse immigration history, a criminal record or pending charge, disputed or in-progress citizenship or residency, asylum or refugee status, a medical condition a decision may turn on, dependents travelling with you, or an appeal or reapplication after a refusal, we will point you to a qualified immigration adviser or the relevant consulate rather than guess. Please take that seriously: those are the situations where a wrong answer costs a year or puts a refusal on your record.

The consulate, embassy, or immigration authority for the country you’re applying to is the authority on your case. We aren’t.

6. Independence

We don’t accept payment from universities in exchange for placement, ranking, or recommendation on this site, and we won’t. Our guidance is meant to serve the student, not a university’s enrollment goals — including telling you when earning a degree abroad may not be the right choice for you.

7. Paid plans and billing

Some tiers of Senderia are paid plans. If you purchase one, the following applies:

  • By purchasing, you confirm that you are 18 or older, or that a parent or guardian is making the purchase with you and agrees to these terms. We ask this as its own confirmation at checkout — not buried in another sentence — because it is a statement about who is entering into this agreement, not a formality. If a parent or guardian is purchasing, they are the one agreeing to these terms and the 12-month term below is theirs.
  • Paid plans are sold as a single 12-month term, at the price shown to you at the time of purchase.
  • Paid plans do not renew automatically. Your access ends at the end of the 12-month term unless you choose to purchase another term. We will never charge your card again without you starting a new purchase.
  • You can buy your next term of the same plan from 30 days before your current term ends, at the price shown at that time. The new term starts when the current one ends, so you don’t lose any days.
  • If you upgrade from Navigator to Pathfinder, you get a credit for the Navigator time you haven’t used: what you paid for Navigator, in proportion to the days left in its term. The credit comes off the Pathfinder price, your 12-month Pathfinder term starts on the day you upgrade, and your Navigator plan ends that day.
  • If we change our prices, the new price applies only to terms purchased after the change — never retroactively to a term you’ve already paid for.
  • Payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable tax.

8. Cancellation and refunds

If you’re not satisfied with a paid plan, you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase — no questions, no forms, no conditions. Each purchase has its own 30 days, counted from the day you made it. Email admin@senderia.ai to ask for one.

If you’re a parent or guardian and you find a purchase on your card that you didn’t authorize, email us and we’ll refund it. Inside the 30 days that is just the refund above. Outside them, write to us anyway — we would rather refund an unauthorized purchase than argue about it.

If you upgraded from Navigator to Pathfinder and ask to cancel within 30 days of the upgrade, we refund the upgrade and your original Navigator purchase, both in full, even if you bought Navigator more than 30 days earlier. Your paid access then ends; you don’t drop back to Navigator.

A refund ends your access to that plan’s tier immediately. Anything saved in your browser’s local storage — your shortlist, application checklist, and fit-check answers — is unaffected and stays on your device either way.

After the 30-day window, your plan runs to the end of its term. Because paid plans don’t renew automatically (see Section 7), there’s no separate cancellation step to take — access simply ends when the term does, unless you buy another one.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, systematically extract, resell, or use automated tools to bulk-access the content or data on this site, and not to use the site for any unlawful purpose or to submit false information through our forms.

10. Intellectual property

The content, design, and branding of this site belong to Senderia, LLC or its licensors. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial use, but may not reproduce or redistribute it without our permission.

11. Third-party links and services

This site may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, universities’ own websites, or our email provider). We aren’t responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

This site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Senderia, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of admission, visa denial, missed deadline, or financial loss, arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to this site will not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Senderia, LLC harmless from any claim or demand arising from your misuse of this site or your violation of these terms.

15. Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date at the top will reflect the latest version. We may also suspend or terminate access to this site for anyone who violates these terms. If we terminate a paid account for any other reason, we’ll refund the unused portion of your term.

16. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Senderia, LLC is formed, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there.
